The terrain in my map in-game is completely different from what it looks like in the radiant.
For example I elevated certain parts of the terrain to make it look like smooth hills, however, in the game it is all spiky and unrealistic.
I even stuck trees on the hill, but the terrain is so different they are randomly floating in the air where the terrain should be.
Any ideas? I didn't notice any errors in the compile log.
EDIT: Well I just found a thread about the terrain triangles, so I'm going to look more into that.

Had the same problem, simple solution:
LOD Terrain -> Scale 1 (100% Triangles)
or
CTRL+1

You must have missed rule # 1........ don't use LOD terrain.....lol
with the LOD terrain highlighted, go to shift/A........ play with the sliders and pull on the pink dots.
The pink dots...... ( " V " )
