Game freeze/crash when somebody shot?

Shot or throw grenade. Only in multiplayer mode, launched as SP works fine.



, in mp mode map's launched with maxentities raised to 2048...otherwise NoFreeEdicts error when loading. In sp map loads with 1024.


ps: map loaded without script crash after FEW shots... NoFreeEdicts error show up when grenade explode.


and about freeze... sometimes hud doesnt update, same with viewmodel, eg. player changin weapon to kar but have walther view. AI's frozen too, stand still, or keep running in one direction, dont care for walls or falls....

If you need more than 1024 entities, you really need to redesign your mod. Seriously. One reason is that there hardly ever are situations when you need as many (and if you do, your design sucks big time), and besides, you're bound to get all kind of mysterious problems if you try to bend the game's default limitations.

I dont need'em... i said, in singleplayer everything's right, problem appears in multiplayer where game precache all player models and weapons used by'em!

In SP the game needs to cache all of them OFFLINE and for 1 person. It is quite logical that in multiplayer this causes a lot of problems. Besides, raising the maxentities is known to cause instability within the engine. It's most likely the cause of some other weird errors and problems you've been having.

If you don't need them I would recommend you set the maxentities back to default get rid of most of them.
