MOHRad look ahead pref wont change

Post by HDL_CinC_Dragon »

I cant seem to get Look Ahead to be a bigger number. I want it to be huge since its annoying having brushes and such disappear in 3D view but I cant even set it to 2000 or something. It would be nice if it was infinite lol. Any thoughts? It seems to be stuck at 256..

Down where it says model cull distance...... change it from 512 to 1512. Hit ok and restart radiant.

Tried that. I had actually set it to 2000 but it just wasnt changing anything. I changed both the Model Cull Distance and the Look Ahead but neither did anything at all. Heres a screenshot of my prefs window. Is there another option I need to have checked off?

I had your same problem a while back, the Look ahead actually has nothing to do with your vision distance pertaining to the camera...there is a button in MOHRadiant, it is labeled "Cubic Clip the Camera View" If you turn it off the camera will have a very large view range, and you can set your look ahead to it's default now :)

PS: The button im referring to is second button to the right of the lamp icon (camera preview button)
"Si vis pacem, para bellum."
"If you want peace, prepare for war."

Old post. Forgot about this. It's under "view" in radiant. Remove the check mark from cubic clipping.
