Hello!!

When compiling my map to a bsp-file, q3map ends in an error:
"MAX_POINTS_ON_WINDING".

What does that mean, or what do I have to change in the map?

Most likely you've got an invalid brush somewhere. This usually happens when you've been vertex-editing but haven't been very careful.

If you know some brushes you vertex-edited, remove these and try again.

ok, thanks, I?ve looked for an invalid brush (compiling worked fine after having deleted it); and made a new one but then the problem was there again. Ok, no matter, I?m keen on seeing my map in MoH because its nearly completed....
So I left the brush away, compiled the map, but now, when loading it in MoH, it suddenly stops after the red progress-line has reached about 1/4 and then it kicks me back to the main menu. Whats now going on??!!?

PS: I do have an info-player-start; so its not because of this that the loading process is stopped.

Maybe you could copy some of the console output :?

Console, not bad idea, ... hey mcfly, ...!!! :lol:

so, it says:

ERROR: func_rotatingdoor::setSolidType : Solid_BSP entity at x68.00 y1115.00 z-76.00 with no BSP model

Whats wrong with that door?

I think you have an origin brush without a door attached to it. Anyway, it gives you some coords so you can easily check it out.

If you're making rotating doors, both the origin brush and the door itself must be part of one entity, i.e. when you select one and press ctrl + E, Radiant should automatically select the other.
