I saw one on an other server that say: " welcome Gr3ko from trois-rivieres quebec canada "
Dont know if it was a message from foresight but i would like to add this in my foresight message !!

can someone tell me what i have to write after " say ..." to say that message n maybe other message too?

thanks !!

Here's a guy from modtheater who wrote a script for server messages. he is an active member, you could shoot him a private message.
http://www.modtheater.com/threads/gamet ... per.26459/ not sure if it includes a country ip check though. You could also ask around on x-null.net, maybe this helps http://www.x-null.net/forums/showthread ... e-messages

Could it be possible that it was a script in server.cfg that was saying this ?

I found this script could it work?

Code: Select all

 //REBORN EVENT REGISTERING
    local.result = registerev "connected" global/connectedhandler.scr

    //load ip->country arrays
    waitexec global/ip2co/arrays.scr

Code: Select all

if(local.player)
{
    local.player.data["name"] = netname local.player
    local.player.data["ip"] = getip local.player
    local.player.data["ccode"] = 235
    local.player.data["country"] = ""

    waitexec global/ip2co/ip2co.scr local.player.data["ip"] local.player
}

Thanks for help!!

the server.cfg is used for settings, but i think (not 100% sure) it's possible to put scripting in there too. but you see here, it does executions of scripts like connectedhandler.scr, arrays.scr, ip2co.scr where the real coding/scipting takes place. so yes, if you found a package that comes with the "ip2co.scr" etc it should work :)
