Scripting
in a map do you need to have some sort of scripting in it? just wondering.
Im not short, just vertically challenged

Well rox, that's not completely true. YES, you can run a map without any script at all.
Scripts are used to control various aspects of the game. Even if it is as simple as just adding text for the scoreboard. A very basic deathmatch script generally does little else other than add text to the scoreboard and setup a few parameters if the game is round based. To get your map to have more functionality, such as rain, ambient sounds, or bots just to name a few, additional scripting is required.

Ai scripting is strange to me. I may not be a C+ guru but i know what scripting is. I guess i just don't understand where all the scripts go when i'm done writing them. Do they ALL have to be located in the maps scr packed in the map's pk3? And can I have just preset ai so i don't have to script them?
