What map to make next?

I'm running out of ideas, but does anyone have any idea what to make? I prefer SP, maybe with some historic background.

As I'm not doing SP maps myself ( I'm an online clan warrior from hell ), you can steal my idea straight from the shelf if you want to... I belive it is suitable for a single player campain... At The Rjukan project you'll find a historical abstract of the events executed by a small group of elite soldiers. There are also some authentic pictures from the area. Check it out.

Ok, but I'm thinking of making a DM map with a cross between The Bridge and The Hunt. Then I'll make it SP, with objectives such as "meet up with your allies", blow the bridge, blow the nebelwerfers, and sub-objectives such as destroying the Tiger Tank etc.

Whats wrong with:

Meet up with the scouts.
Cross the deep valley.
Enter the factory undetected.
Blow the distillers to tiny bits.
Blow the heavy water tanks to tiny bits ( in thy mercy ).
Get back on the mountain alive.
Get to lake Tinn.
Get to the ferry before it embarks.
Place the explosives in the stern.
Get off the ferry before it embarks ( or swim? ).
Get back on the mountain alive.
Se the ferry blowing up and going down with the last supplies of heavy water tanks.
Laugh manically ( I've already competed this one ).

Take it or leave it, but its a rather large project... a team working together maby?

When you're finished with that I'm gonna be looking for a good scripter..........

My map is a sequel to Manstein's 'Douvres', but it needs a lot of work at the moment

I've had the idea myself... but not on Titanic... not very historical. :wink: And besides, Titanic was huge... you would end up with a map the size of my map Vemork factory ( and you DONT want that :lol: ).
But why not on a battleship in a harbour?
Or a ferry on lake Tinn? :D

I have a really cool idea but would take a while y not havelike ship vs ship battles where its like an actual battleship u can probably link the flaks and have like a case around em so it looks like the actuall canons they had and u can fire em at the other ship b pretty coo i think or if u awnt a cross of the hunt and bridge y not make the last scene of saving pvt ryan i got the pics of the destroyed bridge battle i can give u the link if u want

Good idea! Let's start now! Let's make a MP map where we can get the ships to drive and we fight, operating flaks!

Why not an SP map where all AI:s have a battleship each and you are swimming armed with a pistol without ammo? :D

It would take a while to complete that map, but by golly, you would be an evil basher :shock:

wait even better idea u know bf 1942 take 1 of those bships and copy it cept when ur in the cannon firingu can put a case around the flaks connect them ll to the main 1 and when u move thaey all move at the same time that would b so awesome
