.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Hi,

I'm totally new at this mapping thang. I'm eager to learn and determined not to let the complexities get the best of me. First obstacle encountered: I keep getting multiple popup window error messages that say: cannot save, "c:/program files/ea games/mohaa/maps/" is a read only file. I'm not even trying to save anything, they just popup about every ten minutes. Any ideas?

I think your autosave is on and not working properly

(1) Check the autosave paths
(2) If this is correct - you can turn autosave off (I had to cause it was giving me different problems) by going to the preferences and clicking the appropriate box

Disable snapshots and autosave in edit -> preferences.

However, this error shouldn't happen when you've saved the map the first time. Then, snapshots are best enabled. Autosave is dangerous.
