Have question about multiplayer-start position.

I have followed the tuts on basic mapping which show single player start. But I can't find one that really shows how to setup a multiplayer start. Any help?

click on the grid part of radiant, and select info-player-deathmatch

it will place a rectangle with an arrow comming off it, that arrow shows the direction that the person will face when they spawn. To change that direction, while you have that spawn selected, press 'n' and select one of the angle buttons ( 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270 ) and it will rotate the spawn.

for obj/round based/teamDM where you need allies and axis it's info-player-allied/axis

Simple enough. Now how do I randomize the respawn point. I need 5 0r 6 respawn points that basiclly rotate each one after being killed.

the spawn points will random spawn you anyway, if you need more selective spawning you can give each spawn a targetname and script the spawning, but you will have to ask one of the ppl better at doing that stuff how that is done.

As far as I have experienced, you will be respawned as far away from your enemy as possible

MP noob here. If we add deathmatch points, we can play in FFA and TDM? I make TDM with only allies and axis.

You should always add both deathmatch AND axis/allies spawnpoints to tour map: Because it would be a waste to limit the types of play the map can be used for...
