Grouping Brushes ... NooB

Hey i'm sorry if this is not the forum section to posts noob questions ... if it is good if not please for the next time can you direct me to which section should i ask ... anyway ... my q is
can i group or make two brushes become one ... say i have two squares side by side perhaps because i did a CSG subtract before and now i have them separated well they have the same dimensions ... anyway can i attach them together ... this way i can start attaching brushes in several places and start counting off some faces ... ?

I think you'll have to recreate these brushes, there's no proper method of merging them. Anyway this should be in mapping forum, as a n00b forum hasn't yet been configured (just kidding ;) ).

that's too bad ... that would be a good option to have ... cause as far as i can tell you cant have a brush shape as a corner ... as in ... two walls connecting at their corners ... for instance you cant have a cube all connected its separeted in its walls, floor and ceiling ... if it could be connected then it'd be a hell of a lot easier saaaay moving a whole building around ...

u can select entire structures by making a brush that encloses the entire thing to be moved

-go to the button with a dotted rectangle
-click it
-click select all inside

thanx! that will come in handy ... too bad you cant connect such segments together ... -faces
