Size of *.map and *.bsp?
Sorry to open a new topic, but i searched, and could not find it.....
My question: What is the max. size of a *.map and *.bsp file??

Well, to be honest.. the only limit is the size of the starting grid in SDK a total of 16384sqr Grid size.. but you'll need to use VIS to help cut the FSP down.... You are only limited by the Editor! Have fun!

Although I do agree I think you are limited to te VIS_LEAFGROUP amount.... but I think the bounds are pretty good anyhow...... I know that the engine was improved for SH so that larger maps could be designed. Basically the old Quake3 engine was developed on old GFX card technology so map sizes and VIs had to be limited..
