Der Adler (The Eagle in English)

It will be available for download soon. Just finsihing scr file and pk3 file.

First Map I ever made, thank you .Map for all your help
Map Includes Mohaa AI
Map Includes Vis Leaf Groups
Map Includes Hint Brushes
Map Includes operating lighthouse
Map Includes operating cranes (sorry the sound not working and so the sound for working crane, and ship fog horn will be left out of beta)
Map Includes Large Cargo Ship with 2 decks and alot of cargo
Map Includes a small sewer system
Map Includes a small town and large dock area and railroad
Map Includes enough spawn points for 10 on 10 Roundbased
Map Includes enough spawn points for over 20 Deathmatch players
Map set at night, same as Flughafen. Long range sniping will be diffcult.

It took me over 300 hours, and re-making the map from scratch twice.
Final compile took 6 hours 32 minutes and 20 seconds

Lower End pcs will be dissapointed in two areas with low fps 30-35.
Vis_Leafgroups increased fps dramatically in several areas averaging on Lower End pc around 50-60

The AI were used to for eye candy...and do not interact with the players. Plus I wanted to see if I could get ai to work.

Opps need to fix the map name...LOL...x-wife from German to...should have asked her how to spell it.

I know what ya mean, I'm getting close to that amount of hours (or so it feels;) And I'm not even mentioning the time I'm working on my own textures and skybox and all the other stuff that needs fixing. My very first map was for Quake 2, and man, did I spent tons of hours working on that thing. But so far, in the end it's always been worth it.

From what I can tell Der Alder :wink: looks well detailed, but some areas seem a little on the dark side (top and bottom screenshots).
Oh btw, I don't know if you're interested in some new skies, but I happen to have a couple of nice (night)skies. You know, just to get that little difference. (I'll post some pics of them later on).
