See the big dips in the river bed??
See the texture is missing on the barbire on the right side
But the model has its texture for some reason.
you see the double gun problem?

Hey man! I'm not a mapper or anything but I was playing a regular map and just like shot # 10 the stupid turret gun wouldn''t go away while I was holding my sniper! How can i fix this glitch?

I find some of the time what you see in the editor is not the terain you get . what I do is ctrl-shift select a terain patch when you see the white lines that is what the terain will really look like . I then reselect the terain shift key only and press v to get the vertices . left ckick and drag around the area in question and select move vertices from the terain menu . you can lower or raise them to the lowest or highest of the points . this creates a flat area I then redo it . Also you can have problems if there are locked vertices or your area filter is set too small .

Thanks for taking intest i have been mapping for a little over 100 hours total. I this will be my first "Official" map that i put into the download area. This map is only about 50% finished. I still need about 25 more houses which i have two finished already. 1 of shifties prefabs. And i thank all the good people at .MAP for teaching me everything i know. This map will have two playable maps. One is MP axis have to blow up the bridge or kill all the allies. Allies have to kill all the axis or wait till time runs out. And the SP is where you have to protect Prv.Ryan from dying, and or kill all the axis. Hopefully i will learn how to use the tank tutorial and will come out with a map with frivable tanks maybe even higgin boats.
One more q if anyone played the MP version of the Bridge where axis have to blow up the bridge and allies have to protect it please tell me the exact name of the water the use. the water I use acts really weird. I dont want to spend lots of time compiling it only to find out the water is not what i wanted.
One more thing. what water has movements in the game and sound and you can swim in it? I put like 20 patchs with different water on it and compiled to see which one i like but the problem is that some water sound like metal others dont have sounds. Some dont even have splashes.
