Is there such a light like this or would it be pissible to rotate it using the fan tut - rotatey, 360 etc...

It is possible to give the appearance of a rotating light by creating spotlights in a circle with black as the light color, then write a script that changes their color to white (or whatever), sequentially (don't forget to change the color of the previous white light back to black).

I would not recommend this as a long running event, however. It will consume considerable resources and significantly impact performance.

I think you can get a very good effect using a rotating brush with a beam texture. Ask Wacko, he has made one excellent texture. .
