I have windows.....
I want you to be able to shoot through them without breaking
Ive accomplished this by setting health to 10000
But i can still break them with a grenade
Im using a texture with multiple panes so having it break is foolish
I dont want that.....

Well... don't give it a func_window ... then it wont break... at all... mo matter what... ( If I'm wrong it is because I'm tired )

hey there, you can shoot thro any old glass texture that's the joys of 'em, applying the function->window etc. etc... will make them breakable and then passable, hope this helps, if not then some1 else will reply after this with a better response

many apologies rezner, i've just tested all the glass it seems ur right, there are some textures that u can't shoot thro, never noticed this b4, must of just got lucky on the 1's i'd previously chosen, all windows that are prebuilt in2 the wall in a texture are not shootable thro, there are a couple that u can shoot thro that are just the glass and frame tho, honest, this i am sure about,
i know u've heard that b4, but this time i'm convident

You can also, set windows to be non passable when broken.

Typing
$window nodamage
in the script file (assuming 'window' is the targetname of the func_window) should work.

If you have alot of windows and don't want to clog up your script, try setting the damage to -1. Since each shot increments the damage it should never reach -1. (Technically it could, but I don't think anyone would shoot it enough.)

No idea here, but can't you just set the key-value pair 'nodamage 1' in the window brush properties?
