Convert .bsp to .map ( Entity's ONLY )

I am working on a program, that reads the mohaa.bsp files, and returns an entity.map file, so you can load the .map into mohradiant and see all the entity's, sorry NO BRUSHS as yet....DAMN

see the entity's in all their linked glory..patrol points, sniper-crouch points etc...

checkout how they set those $destroyed_model tags in the objective maps..etc...

Just finallizing speed issues

Each Singleplayer.bsp is about 10 Mb in size, Read through file , deleting unwanted parts, add //entity # lines, and change all linefeed characters to carriagereturn/linefeed. Add Basic Blank.map Brushs( Or else it won't load in mohradiant)
Save off as samename.map
.bsp unaffected........

Let me know what you think ???????

Ready for download now, but not uploaded yet ( 1-2 days )

IN theory going by what you ahve said to "editing BSPs" thread.
and what your working on here

Agian i state in theory.
You could copy an SP OBJ SCR from game im thinkin of one in particular.
And add it to an MP map.(usp entitys and SCR)
Say for instance in level one "man the MG" i always wanted that in my map.
Where Axis have to man MG`s for set amount of time.
This is all theory when i try it and FUBAR it i will post here for help*

*giggles like a small kid

LOL:)

Well, Duncan Weir AKA ScorpioMidget put out three "no-brush" maps including obj/team3. The ones I have, load in the editor without any skybox or terrain. Most of the entities are there with the original targetnames intact. I think I got them form AA.com...

I Just found ScorpioMidget's download for all the m5 maps too:

oopppssss!

bsp_2_Map_install.exe

There is no uninstaller . Have had reports, from someone with probs on W98SE, said it caused machine to crash sporadically...????who knows, works on my system, and others that have used it, I am running XP though

it will run from anywhere, as it uses an open dialog to select .bsp map files...
the file will be saved into the same directory, but with the .map extension............

load that into mohradiant, to check out patrol points, etc......

is a soup of entity's but if you know what to look for it will help, you to set it up the same
worked out killarea's from this method, on obj_team4.bsp ....
