custom texture error

if you compiled a map and others see a custom text. someone else made is there a way to fig what map that came out of ? and use there shader? also when doing maps do others usually take out there other custom maps?

The texture usually has the name of the map in it somewhere.

Anyway it's better to not have custom pk3s in your main folder when designing maps.
