I have seen it for a long time on the front of the website
.MAP for Doom3:: coming soon.
Who is going to start mapping scripting modeling etc etc.?
What engine does this game use?
Is there a demo of :Doom3 yet?
I want to know this because i was kind of late for medal of honor so i cannot be the second Jv_map at medal of honor. So I want to try my hand at Doom3 mapping scripting basically everything. That way i will be the head honcho. 8) .
I heard doom3 engine is better then Quake3''s engine. (Read it on the ID software site).

well that's a fact, sir!
I wouldn't worry too much about being late for Mohaa, no need to hurry. Just take yo time and learn as much as possible. I got the feeling that the days of the lone mapper creating his own (standalone SP) levels/units will be coming to an end. So much extra stuff to put into games for those new engines, I don't know if just one person will have the time to do it all. We shall see...

Also, editing DOOM3 will happen in a slightly modified GtKRadiant, so knowing how to map for MOHAA will help you very much with mapping for DOOM3

The .map for Doom3 site won't be ready for a while, this site keeps me quite busy atm. The idea is to have a good mapping help site for the best games out there .....

there must be some, who have seen this pre-alpha e3-demo, with editor included and though there might be lots of changes (hopefully, watching the fps) one thing is clear: editing will be similar to MOHAA-mapping or rather RTCW/QUAKE mapping
