Angry Fields for SH. Your thoughts?

Post by MPowell1944 »

I remember a short while back when this custom map for SH went up for download. I checked out the screenshots, and thought that it was worth a download. Never played it until I saw a server on ASE running the map at that time. Decided to hop in and to my surprise, the map was brilliant. Everything was layed out nicely, with ample room to move around and multiple routes from side to side. Might seem cheesy, but this map is what got me back into mapping, specifically for SH. With the recent "SDK" release, I found the tutorials and new version of Radiant and Q3MAP to be very helpful. I would like to thank the maker of Angry Fields for opening my eyes to his/her sweet creation and for giving me inspiration for my next map, and the abilities of SH over AA with regards to mapping.

If you have any thoughts on this map please share them here. Hopefully I have posted this in the right section.

Thanks.

And it is indeed. The layout is good enough to make the map extremely playable. If you ever run a vote for the next Map of the Week, I would definently vote for this one. Review it when you get a chance. Promise you, it is a definent winner.
