I want to have some text come up at the start of every round in my tank battle mp level, telling people how to drive the tanks, or some tips anyway.
Thanks guys.

There's a tut on how to do that which is something like Omaha Beach the Starting over at Manstein's page.

Use a locprint or a huddraw_string below level waittill roundstart.
See g_allclasses.html for syntaxis.

I think this will do:
level waittill roundstart // <--- this line is (should be
) in your script already
locprint 140 80 "Drive the tank you...
never mind"
The 140 and 80 are the location values for printing. Just mess with them until the text is where you want it.

It stays in view for a short while, although it might get interrupted by the 'press fire to join the battle' message.

Or you can use this to display the text right below the compass, so that it won't be in the main viewing area. Whatever works best for you :
level waittill roundstart
iprintlnbold_noloc (loc_convert_string "Enter Text Here")

Sigh...that's so simple, anyone can do it. Even noobs. Sumo is an excellent mapper, do you think he doesn't know that?

Sigh suno duznt know it
. Sumo allways struggles with scripting, even simple stuff. At least .map and cool people like you and .map crew are around to help out.
Anyway back to spamming the forum with more scripting questions lol.
