Leaking Light

When I compile my map, it gets several errors saying that light 'leaked'. What does this mean?
In my map i notice that light seems to be 'leaking' through between brushes. Is that what the compiler means? I've tried stopping it by overlapping the two brushes so there isn't any possible gap, but it still does it!

Don't over lap brushes
put them right against eachother
when you line up two brushes the touching side will look like one in Radiant
you will get one line just like it was one brush
zoom in to check this

on the Light Leaked depense on what kind of leak
if it says it like this
WARNING: Entity 9 of type 'light' leaked
not a big deal you can still load the map in the game and look around
but try to fix before final compile
posability a light is real close to a wall or where 2 walls join

if you see one like ***********Leaked*********
you have to find it before you can see your map as it will be black dark
as in no light

In the editor go to files and click on "Pointfile". It will draw a red line to the things that leak. Replacing leaking lights will normally fix them, but check your skybox for seperated corners. They get moved by mistake very easily.
