Kar98Sniper Shader?

I need to know which shader references kartop.tga and karbottom.tga that make up the scope for the Kar98Sniper. Zoomoverlay.tga is referenced in the hud.shader but the one for the kar is not. Its like the shader dosent exist. If you know, please tell me asap. Thnx.

Also, if possible, I need to find out how the game tells the Kar98Sniper to use a different shader for the scope. It must tell it which shader to use. I have checked the .tik file but found nothing there. Thnx.

k98scope in weapons_german.shader? :roll:

In the .tik, change this line:
surface scope shader k98scope
to use a different shader.

lol. I thought of that same thing. The k98scope that it refers to, is actually the metal scope itself, not the zoom. Talk about a wild goose chase. I changed weapon names and it seems that it automatically uses the Kar98 scope if the weapon name is KAR98 - Sniper. How odd.
