Almost not working ladder. HELP!

This is not my first but surely my worst ladder (this rhymes...)
I did everything as always but I can't go up anymore! Well, I can, but halfway up, I have to turn left or right, and then, I take the final steps.
Here are some pics:

This is what it looks like in MOHR and

this is the position of the player, where he(me) stop climbing. Again: Turning(Looking) left or right now, with the forward key still pressed, he climbs up the rest!
Any further information will gladly be posted (well, atleast I will post it gladly)

looks like the ladder brush at the top of your ladder thats stoping you.

Must confess, I forgot who the genius was, but this brush doesn't stop anyone in climbing upl but makes ladders easily(!!!) accessible from above! Search the forum for this, everyone should apply this to his ladders, because players can walk over the edge and are automatically turned and set on the ladder! Really great invention!
No, this ladder doesn't work even without that brush!
BTW, I can already look over the edge, so my head ought to be in or though that brush...

I havent seen them that way to help get down a ladder....I have seen the extra ladder brush where a player would stand to get down a ladder though....at least thats how 2015 did it.
How bout increasing the length of the ladder brush little higher till he makes it all the way up?

All the maps in MOHAA that have ladders are made like that.

The extra ladder brush, is it a funk_ladder of it's own? if so, might it have a different angle set?

I selected both together and made it a func_ladder. And it was you, rOger, as I now remember, who brought this into this forum!?
Also, this ladder copied to another place worked fine, so maybe the hole is too small (64 wide and 96 high) or the staircases are to near (20 distance to the edge, with the stairs being higher, though)? Any experiences made with this?

This is way off topic *Sorry* in advance but Is there a patch to stop sharking/snaking which you can acheive from using the ladder? If not i have a very good solution that I will post when I get home *screenies included.

I've had some problems with getting all the way up on a ladder when the roof was to close above. If i don't remember incorrectly it did stop the player much like in your screen shot. I can't see if there is anything above the ladder that might block, but i guess you can as you have the .map file.

Try to delete that func_ladder that overlooks your ladder.

I gave up and made a set of stairs
Didn't want to test 'n compile for weeks because of one ladder!
Thanks to all who tried to help, though!

No need to. Just take out both the func_ladders and paste them in a new map to test things out.
I think the top func_ladder-brush is pointing in the wrong direction. Shouldn't it be covering the second floor you're trying to reach? The way it is now is mainly for going down more easily. Maybe place it in the middle. Just a thought.
