p#uckin skybox!

can u guys believe?my sky box disappeared, but look the strangest side of the thing: in mohradiant it is there, during game (past compiling) it shows up a black skybox with no texture :evil: ... BORING!

any sugestions?

yup sh. is i'm using afrika night skybox from sky texture pack.
(i'll only post yalater, i'm going to bed a bit til 11 clock in the mornng it's almost 7:30 am here at portugal see ya.

Explain well that question if it is for SH.

It seems Spearhead makes a mess of skies if you use low detail settings.

So try a higher detail setting and see if it still happens.

Yep!! Spearhead can be a bit ?%&#

I also know some people who have gotten trouble because they have used "fit to face" for the skybox texture. If you have done that....don't!! Just apply it to the skybrushes.

try adding this line after the 'level waittill spawn' part in your script:

$world farclipoverride -1

all my graphics were set to the highest possible, excludint the texture color depthness, it was in 16 bit, i turned it to 32 and now my skybox looks like "vanilla sky" ROTFLOL kiddin

changing the depth to 32 bits colour will fix this problem.

I think in a lot of cases THAT afrika night sky is screwed up and won't work most of the time in SH....a couple of the night ones can be troublesome from time to time. BUT you should NEVER use 'fit' to apply a sky texture, just slap it on as is.

Yeah, remembered using on sky texture, but it showed as black in SH.
