Try removing all custom pk3s or see what happens to the command.

Hmmm, maybe ask a buddy to help you compile.

Ian,

I get the same problems with MOHRad. Every time I load it it asks me for the basepaths, and I know that they are right. I would just ignore this.

I would reinstall MBuilder and see if that makes any difference. Failing that, chuck me your .map and I will compile [for a small fee :D]. Also try compiling a different map file and see if you get the same error message. If you do, the chances are that MBuilder is corrupt or mis-configured. If you do not get the same message it could be a problem with your .map file.

Hope this helps mate.

YES!! I've figured it out. Don't worry guys.
This "set basepath"-crap was driving me nuts too. It's because Radiant loads the 'Default.qe4' file (located in your Mohtools- folder). So you need to make sure Radiant starts loading your new project (.qe4) file. Okay here's what you need to do:

-Start up Radiant and click through the "set basepath"-crap one more time. Wait till it's loaded and open your map.
-First go to "Edit->Preferences" and check the "Load last project on open", "Load last map on open" and also the "qe4 update model" checkboxes, then click OK,
-Then go to "File-> New Project" and fill in a name, e.g. "Shifty.qe4".
-Next go to "File->Project Settings" and check if the paths are (still) correct, click OK,
-Close Radiant.

Okay, now for testing.... (*drumroll*...hold you breathe, it helps):

-Start up Radiant again, and be happy, or:
-Browse to your new "Shifty.qe4" file one more time.

(If for some reason Radiant tries to load the Default.qe4 again, just delete it. When it can't find it, it gives you the option to browse to your own .qe4 file. You now have "Load last project on open" checked and your .qe4-project file will be opened.)

That should do it!

Just save yourself the trouble and don't use the "Launch mohaa after compile" option and just manually copy/paste the compiled bsp in the maps\dm (obj whatever) folder after the compile. You can use it, but then, after loading you still need to start a multiplayer session and load the map again from the ...main\maps\dm folder to hear any sounds:/ <-sux

This method works but if anyone has a better way of doing it let me know.

(Mbuilder automatically updates its batchfile when you choose a gametype, under Other options (it adds "+g_gametype 1" to the commandline). It *should* start the game in deathmatch mode, however it doesn't work.)

It doesnt even get to that stage - no bsp is made

It is about that stage. Read the console, what does it say? Give us some more specific info then. All you say is there is no bsp(?). I'm not going to guess...

You need to do a bsp compile before starting the light compile :?
