Hi i have some problems with my doors and i can?t fint the reason i have read different tutorials and posts.
I want doors which open in both directions, i have tried the Key/Value :
alwaysaway/1,but it doesn?t work, but i have noticed that the problem lies
in the directions of the heaven(i think).
Also ich have doors which work fine and the other which doesn?t work correct are build as the correct ones.
For example:

Top(xy)view
-------------------------------------
|
|
|------------------------------------->north(i think)
|
|
|
|
--------------------------------------

All doors which are -- doesn?t work correct
All doors which are | work correct
All doors are build as the others
When i build a singleplayer startpoint the arrow show from left to right
(Top (XY) view) so i think north is at the right side .
The -- doors are working correct without any key/value entities
but the others
Hope 4 help.
thx a lot.
Excuse my english but i only have learn it in school.

Hmm, did you add an origin brush? Make sure you have it where you want the origin brush to be the hinge. Select both door and origin brush and make them a func_rotating door.

If you use func_rotatingdoor then you don't need to set alwaysaway, you can leave that option unmarked! BUT if the door is placed so that it faces the angle 90/270 then select the door, hit N key and press 90. It will set the angle to 90. For some reason you need to set the angle for the doors facing that direction. Doors having their flat side facing 180/360 you don't need to set anything, just the func_rotatingdoor.

a note to add tho,

if you are using doors that face the angle of 0 or 180, then make sure you have no angle assigned to it, it doesn't need the angle 2 b defined bcus default angle that gets set = 0 :D
