Hi all hope some1 can help me.
My map was ready to compile,so i done it and played it, all work fine, but i found a litte bug,so i get back to radiant fixed this little bug and compiled again.
BUT know i test the map again and in one corner of my map was a room where almost all textures was missing also some lights, but in the room behind the same textures was there??????????????????????
But i didn?t change anything in my map only the one bug i haved fixed and he is gone now.
Before i start to compile again i changed the settings of Mbuilder in the Bsp option to -fulldetail.
Could this the reason?
I wont start compiling again, because its takes up to houres,I havn?t found this problem .
THX for help

Never compile with -fulldetail, it's the worst option ever invented.

Don't know what the problem is with your map, do you see the textures in Radiant?

First try it without recompiling.

If you used detail brushes, your compile will go much faster without the -fulldetail switch 8)

I have some detailed brushes in my map (stairs, thin boards etc) but i have read that i have to be carefull with this option.
Why i still don?t know:-)
Is there a limit for detailing brushes?
Because i have read that it will reduce the vis compilingtime and this is the reason for my long compilingtime.

I suggest you read TheStorm's tutorial:
