I found a site that looks promising:
http://www.mapraider.com/
This is what they say they do:
Mapraider.com wrote:Mapraider.com provides a fair, unbiased and member-moderated map rating and cataloging system for any PC game system that supports 3rd-party maps!
Basically, you can upload your map to get it rated by the other users... sounds good to me! Check it out!

Yeah, I recommended .map to him as there were discussions in the forums where people wanted him to expand the site with tutorials, but he wanted to stay with his "core buisniss" ( smart guy ). Your sites could really benefit from each other ( same audience different areas ).

Hey! I'm pretty lonely with my maps at
http://www.mapraider.com/ ... join in! There are only a few MOHAA maps submitted ( Mostly UT maps ), and we have a golden opportunity to claim this site as "our own". Submitt all your maps now! You know you want people to see them and comment on them ( why else go through all this work? )!
Go forth!

Well, I decided to register and say "hi" to everyone. I the guy responsible for Mapraider.com. I was surprised to find this thread about it, so I guess there's no harm in pimping my own site
Mapraider is purely about promoting and finding maps. I built it out of frustration of always having a hard time finding good quality maps for the games I play without having to sift through a bunch of junk. There's a lot of unique features of the site to help promote maps, but I'll spare you the details unless anyone is really interested.
There's over 430 active members, some of which are MOHAA fans and would LOVE to see more maps. Right now, I'm adding them to the database myself (aside from the ones that Bjarne has submitted) -- which is why only 15 of the 686 maps in the database are for MOHAA. I need help!
Anyway, thanks for the kind words, Bjarne - and thanks for telling me about .Map - I'm a regular visitor now

Hey
freakin_bastard ( Wierd greeting

)!
You'r site is exelent, but its exelency wont show ( for us MOHAA mappers ) unless some MOHAA mappers start posting their maps and grade the exising ones.
I've seen some amazing maps in this forum, that deserves a good looking at: So I say to all of us mappers here: Post your maps at this site. The site is brilliant, but it will just be a dead brilliant site ( as MOHAA maps go ) if we don't take advantage of it!! So go forth and submitt your exelent maps!!!!
Go on

I got my name during LAN games at work. It was quite funny when people would yell out "That freakin' bastard fragged me!"
Well, you're right -- the site is dead for MOHAA fans, but it's very much alive-and-well for UT and UT2003. It takes a while, but as word gets out, people will start stopping by and checking things out. At the very least, the maps here that you talk about will slowly be added by myself, but that takes time.
I'm busy at work right now, so unfortunately, I'm not spending time promoting the site in the MOHAA community like I did for UT2003 when it came out last year. I hope to change that soon.
Mohaa_rox - yes, this site is really nice and it's great to have such a decent MOHAA review site to link to!
Gizzy - since I live in the home of DisneyWorld, the "it's a small world" reference is very appropriate
