YES! This is really great news :)

Here's my list:

-bots for the "official MOH maps" <--
-being able to give commands to bots (camp here, cover me etc)
-bots who can "learn" levels (like Erazerbot for Quake2)
-bots which also work in Spearhead
-bots who can pick up healthpacks from a killed enemy
-bots who can for instance also play deathmatch instead of only "objective based" maps
-bots who pick up grenades and throw it back at you :)

I've already said this but:
- Add new skill levels to make the bots more dangerous.
- Add fine grained control over the different bot skills ( speed, aim and stuff ).

The rest is already listed by Godflesh ( they already throw nades back at you, and throw themselves on nades to save the others b.t.w. :D ).

well,

my only idea is for SQUAD BOTS, bots that lock on to a friendly human player and follow them, cover them etc, until the player is killed, and then they look for another human buddy

i don't know if i'm asking too much here but i was gonna look at it myself anyway...

how about making a gui where you can select diferent bots to appear in the level, i'm sure a man of your capabilities won't fine this a problem

if u can't b assed with that then let me know and i'll keep looking at it, it'll b a gr8 addition 2 the game :D

Already implemented in v1.0 ;)

Add new skill levels to make the bots more dangerous.

Working on that 8), they own me now :oops:

Following is already implemented, might increase the following priority though. Could be annoying for snipers maybe.

How about random bot messages, like

If you do it, be sure to make it easy to remove.
Like jvbot_bots_are_TK'ing_bastards 0

...because it would irritate me :wink:

Hi JV,

Yes we hope to include some example maps for the Pacific Mod with your Bots and hence redistrib your bot pack with the PACMOD packs.
Squad tactics would be great especially as I hope to create a scene with a mass beach storming in support of the player with Japanese dug into hidden bunkers with supporting Naval Gunfire.

As you can appreciate there is so much going on with the MOD that niether Balr nor I have had much time for mapping recently :-(
So any support and upgrades are much much appreciated.

We shall include a credit on any screens such as loading screens saying
" JV BOTS included" or something. Do you have a little visual logo we could add? Or I could make one quickly if you want.

Specifically for Pacific Maps.

Could you try to create a "BANZAI" suicidal Japanese attack mode?

Perhaps a specific type of Officer can cause local Japanese Bots to go into a frenzy and charge either a specific location or player?
The opposite could be marines getting their blood up and storming hell for leather.

The characteristics would be a headlong charge shouting with either little firing or wildly in accurate firing.

People are working on an Officer with Katana (sword).

Whatever you can implement would be appreciate.

Perhaps you could think of it along the lines of group or area moral.
For example cowering, suppressed, Good moral, fanatic, Hot blooded, Green, veteran.

For example if sustained casualities reach a specific number at one location Marines might begin cowering and feeling suppressed hiding behind sand dunes at a beach landing.

Hey JV i need to give a name for the bot but i cant do that!
can you tell me how or implement it in the new version!
I need to make the bot wait for his death.... i have this problem too!
and make him respawn.... for maps with OBJ.... i can make it with script but if you can make it more easy... like
jvbot_bots_respawn 0

i have release my map in my country for test purpose but if you want i can send you my map to you give a look to my bot hehehehe...
