Degenerate and duplicate plane

My map has this planes, and will it affect it? I used a fast vis and there're these things that fly out from brushes, something greyish-black.

Clear evidence it does affect your map! These 'things that fly out' are probably degenerate planes, you need to fix 'em and the duplicates also.

Is it a very long brush? I have had the same problem with very long railings or ladders. I had to basically cut it into two peices to fix.
