.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

well this is my first real map, and since it's my first and it's not that great anyway it's probably going to be 'free source' since i am only doing this map to get the hang of everyday mapping. anyway, onto myu problems: 1. Fog, i have asked numerous times abiout this and i have tried setting multiple values to try and get some fog so peeps can't snipe from one end of the map to the other, so i tried setting the values to ones from the worldspawn refrence guide, but all that happened was it just removed any surfaces 'out of veiw range'.
2.ladders:i have always sucked at ladders, no matter HOW i do it it just won't work, the most recent way i have tried has been the closest where it worked, but i climbed about 1/2 a metre down the <b>side</b> of the ladder, and i could see these grey/yellow surfaces everywhere origionating from the ladders, and covering the ladders themselves, plus i no i skrewed up because it gave me an error in the compiler "WARNING: entity 6 of type 'func_ladder' leaked" and it did this for every ladder, i don't know whether any of this helps, but i don't know how to attach images yet on these forums as they have no image upload box on the posting form...???
if you need images just tell me and tell me how to get them uploaded to the forums?!

1)Fog, real simple. Press "n" and go to worldspawn. Give a key of "farplane" and value of around "2500-3500", which is perfect. Then give another "farplane_color" key and a value of your suncolor, for example, if your suncolor is "30 35 45", a good fog would be "0.3 0.35 0.45" for "farplane_color". Whew! Understand?
2)Ladders, just get the hang of it. The direction in which the player faces, like the top view, facing 90deg., your func_ladder in top view should have an angle of "90", which your player faces (90deg) in order to climb the ladder.
3)Images, images. Find a free host to host your pics, upload 'em, and use [img]urlname[/img].

well, with the farplane, that's probably my problem, i set a distance but not a colour.......
laaders.......yea i'll have an understanding of how they work by the time i get my driver's license.........
and images.... well yea i could upload them and then make a link but it's not worth the trouble unless someone wants to see the images.....
