Is there something to bear in mind when placing/using coronas? I very often have placed them exactly on the light entity and in game they are half a meter beside it looking from certain directions.

What i do when i am curious about how things work or are different from others, i usually make a bunch of rooms and place things around inside them. In this case, I would make my rooms, place a light somewhere and then place a bunch of coronas in different angles and such. That way, u can walk around the rooms and compare one thing to another. I know this is probably the longest route to figure it out, but essentially you are making yourself a tut.

Don't rotate coronas... it has NO effect besides relocating them ( as you said )

Thanks for the help, Bjarne! (Nice site, btw!) 8)

PschyoE, you're right: I could have made my test map and I ought to have found out myself. But I always was too lazy to start investigations and then I thought, there's surely someone who knows what to do... And, isn't that what this forum is about?!

I just find it fun to get off a map and play around with things to try and figure it out. Not only you forget about your map for a bit, you learn something and maybe discover something else u want in your map.
