I know a bit about the precache.scr, but not much.

The question i need to answer wasn't found searching around the site. What i am curious about is if i have more than one of the same model

ie: models/static/commontree.tik (or whatever it is)

Do i have to put that line in my precache.scr more than once? or is just one good.

Sounds like a silly question, but i can sometimes be silly!!!!!

figured it would be something simple but I didn't know what the answer was. thanks.

For the error (If i can call it that) messages such as:

WARNING: Downgrading...blah blah blah; or
TIKI_InitTiki: no 'idle' animation found, model bounds not set for ...blah blah blah,

What is placed in the precache.scr?
ie: message i got was:

WARNING- DOWNGRADING TO OLD ANIMATION FORMAT FOR FILE: models/static/coat_hanging_stand/coat_hanging_stand.skc

is this the line i put in my precache.scr:

cache models/static/coat_hanging_stand.tik

again seems silly, but I have no clue

You get these errors because a lot of models in the game are flawed. The designers made some mistakes here and there.
