gensurf

hello,
im totally new to this kind of mapping im used to worldraft..
but thats besides the point..
ok .. i hear you can use the gensurf to make terrain...
so i need help with that .. on the pop up window.. it lists several.. options..
quake 2
halflife
sin
heretic 2
kingpin
genesis 3d
quake 3
so now im mapping for... medal of honor.. which do i choose

Mohaa uses the Quake 3 game engine, as does Return to castle Wolfenstine. Good luck with Gensurf... I found it hard to use and gave up on it. If you look in the docs folder of MOHAATools, you'll find a tutorial on how to make terrain that is pretty nice.


Ps: You can uses some of the prefabs from Quake 3 for MOHAA. Here are some useful URLs:

I can help you with Gensurf. I've been using it for 5 years. Feel free to e-mail me. To answer your question, pick Quake3. I can give you a plug-in that runs gensurf from MOHRadiant... much easier to use.

hi i have a quick question on this subject...you say you can use some of the quake 3 prefabs...what determins what you can and cant use...

if its a .map does that mean you can use it or what? thanks
