Spearhead script

i came up with an idea and i was wondering if it was possible:
i wantwed to have a truck (opel truck) with a newbelweifer on the back (useable) and i wanted to make it so that:
a. the truck does continuous loops round a pre-determined path and
b. you can operate the newbelweifer and get on the back of the truck by pressing use key.
this was mainly an idea for a MP map, though it could be used in SP.......
and help/hints/ideas would be appreciated
(BTW: i suck at scripting but not too shabby at mapping (exept for ladders. don't ask for ladders.) so you'll need to explain it fairly well, i nee to know exactly what i have to do, or at least have a fairly good idea..........

never tried it but in theory possible.

First setting up the truck. If you are creating your own map for this then follow the tutorials in the SDK. If your adding this to an existing map check out the mod found in mohfiles.com called battle server. All the scripts to add a vehicle to a map are in there.

To add the weapon to the truck I guess you should be able to do by either attaching, binding or glueing the weapon to the truck. I think it's attaching you want but I'm sure someone can confirm this

u'll need to use
spawn turret

in the .tik file for the opel truck

binding and glueing turret to truck won't work because the turret can't use the drive command ;)

lol, but the turret may appear in a weird weird place.

Yes you would need a turret tag in the truck model :?

i was just putting the basis of what to do into perspective,

you will also need queryturret scripting, adding and binding players, using new drive functions, and more stuff, it's hard work but it's a gooden when it's finished :D
