well by the way i did say my last question on this subject but any ways
if you go to nemisis's tut on mbuilder he says set mbuilder to nothing ticked and when you go to mpowell's tut on light he says use -final so there is where i am going with that plus no one ever said i do not think do not bother with -final or yes always use it

Use -final ... If you get unwanted lighting results: start experimenting with other settings, but else use -final ...

tuffstuff... use fast for quick compiles to test your map.. never use fast on the final release. use final on your final release only... or i geuss you can use it on tests but if your map is significant in size you will be able to go make some coffee and order pizza and have a party while your comp does all the compilin... (in other words it takes a hell of a long time...)

the reason you want to use final on a final release is because the frame rates will vary significantly compared to that of your map without final compile.

Hope that helped... doubt it.

lol the final compile finsihed 3 days later wheeeew that was prob. because of my bad usage of radiant have leanred alot since this one was finihsed my vertex ranges now form 1.5 8.2 and my frame rate went up 20fps-60fps in most places WOW so my lowest fps now is 68 and highest 222
so now i know to use the settings that i learned from you guys here thank you for being patient with me ......if i did find one thing i wanted to adjust will it take as long as it did the first time?

If your compile takes 3 days I guess you have too many structural brushes.
