Playerweapon?

Im dedicating an office room to every FFisON clan member in the next version of Vemork factory and as some members have specialised in certain weapons... I thought I would put that weapon in their rooms...

BUT ( here comes the question ) if i put a playerwaepon->axis->Kar98-sniper ( just an example ) in the map, will that be usable in game then? I don't want it to be... I just want it as a "plugged replica" on the wall or possibly just void of ammo... ( usable without ammo is more logical, now that I think of it... thats what I want ).

Argh! I made a test... by default its a respawning sniper rifle with 10*5 rounds of ammo! I want it not to respawn and have no ammo! :cry:

Gebe mir dekkung! Unter beschoss, ich brauche hilfe! :wink:

Must I script this or can I control it by mapping parameters?

prob can do it in scrtiping but not sure how 2,

u'd be best off just adding the files into the static directory (but not the tik) :D

You could try using a script model.

Making it a script_model will make it "inert"?
But I want it to be non-respawning and void of ammo... :cry:

In that case, use the playerweapon and set these keys / values:

ammo_in_clip / 0
cnt / 1

You will be able to pickup the weapon, but it has no ammo and it won't respawn.

The cnt variable.... is that 'count'? So if I'll set 2 it will respawn once?

Respawn disabling with cnt 1 works as expected, but the ammo_in_clip 0 is ignored :cry:
Do you just know this stuff or do you read it somewhere jv?

It's in g_allclasses.html that ships with Radiant.

But appearently not all information is correct :(

Is this Swedish? It's almost the same as German ("Gebt mir Deckung! Unter Beschu?, ich brauche Hilfe!")
