read the decals tutorial in the tutorials section... it tells you... but you need to use spearhead SDK..

can you build maps for mohaa with the spearhead version?

yes aslong as you dont use spearhead models textures or functions and so on.. but you have to own spearhead in order to install the SDK

so again to make it clear yes you can map for mohaa with the spearhead SDK. DO NOT use the new functions textures and so on if it is going to be a regular mohaa map.

but unfortunetly i beleive all the scortch mark textures are spearhead textures... what you can do is extract the shader file and the texture and put it in your pk3 when you want to distribute your map.. so you can use spearhead textures as long as you put them in your pk3 for your map so the people who dont have spearhead can see the textures when they play the map.

no every thing in the SDK is pretty much the same as radiant... the only problem ive seen with the SDK is that when you use the clipper tool and hit ~ to switch the brush around it dont work like it does in radiant.... so you should be alright using SDK.
