Radiant crashes with Ai

I was using the Ai pattrolling tutorial and it says 'Now add your enemy, right click ai->german->wehrmact->soldier.' However when i try to do this it crashes. In fact it crashes with any ai. Heeeelp!!!

If you have Spearhead installed, rename the mainta folder to something different.
If you've alreay done this, then I have no idea !

the old version of mohradiant did this when you where close enough to a model to make it draw in the 3d window if you set mohradiant to not draw models and show them as bounding boxex only it did not crash . The new version of mohradiant in the spearhead SDK works ok

It didnt work renaming 'mainta' to 'maintakho@ or anything like that I had to change it to 'hello' and now it works fine.

rename it to anything without main in it
so painta or sainta

now I am confused what is this about changeing mainta to something else why? to make mohaa maps ? what does this do keep it out of mohradiant? can you play spearhead after you do it ?

1)You can if you rename your folder back to mainta when you play.
2)Download the new MOHRad.

speaking of the new MOH Rad with the spearhead sdk it wont install on my pc though i have spearhead. the patch wont install either so I am contacting EA Games (like they would care anyway) to get it sorted.

i want the new SDK
hold on a minute.. can you open your old maps and edit them using the new radiant without corrupting the .map in any way (the objects might be different or something like that)? and also, what apart from new textures is there in the new SDK??

as far as I can see the new mohrad allows you to see the new models and came with some new entdefs . You could have downloaded scorpio's entdefs for that though . It did come with some good documentation and new compilers for spearhead but you can play mohaa maps in spearhead anyway . One other thing when I extracted a mohaa game map and put it in the mainta/maps directory I could not play it but I changed the name of the map and script for that map by adding "sp_" to the beginning of the map then I could play it in spearhead . hmm

all they do is fix the Sh SDK a bit like tanks and stuff. ANd for other people who are having trouble installing te SDK it is all unziped with instructions on how to manually install it here:
