Sorry! Here comes the newb question.

Howdy, yes yet another newb. And not exactly the brightest newb in the house:
I've resently created a Dm map for mohaa, but it doesn't seem to load. The errors in console point to a problem with the spawn points, and I'm not exactly sure if I've created them correctly; could someone please give me a step by step way of creating spawn points for free for all maps so I can compare my method, and see how wrong it is, lol.

In Radiant, right click where you want a spawn point and choose info -> player -> start.
You need at least one info_playerstart to run your map.
Later you can info -> player -> allied and info -> player -> axis for deathmatch spawn points.

Thankya, but there is something strange going on. Either I'm being simple, or somethings gone wrong.
I place my spawn points on the map
right click > info > start
Right click on start > info > dm
Make a few of these, place them. Do the same for axis and allied
(compile)
Then try to load my map, and imediatly off the loading bar it dissconnects me and takes me back to the main menu saying that there's something wrong with the spawn points. Im hoping Im doing something simple rather than there being anything wrong lol

What does it say exactly about the spawn points?

Well that means you have no info_playerstart.

Hmm, strange. I have put one in the map, and I'm dead certain. It's sitting right infront of my eyes.
I'll try a reinstallation of MoHAA, and radiant and see what happens =\ wish me luck

The info player start is just so it could spawn with a cam. You know how you join a server and it takes you to a certain place where you can see the battle before the actual tean pick? Well that is the info player start. You have to place
info -> player -> allied
info -> player -> axis
into your map also if you want to play.

ahh! I understand now thankya! that DID work for me. that's great, thankya. I was just sticking in the dm spawn points.
