canopy windows

Post by tuffstuff7 »

i was wokring on a triggered door and had something wrong with the opening and it rotated in the middle well i fixed that but here is my question my son asked could i make window that you had to trigger to open to shoot out of and the way he described it it would be a canopy window ( a horizontal window that opens upward or rotates upwards and out) that will remain open untill it is triggered again ? the window would be like the block ice window that is not really visible through for privacy <<<<<< i forget what MOH calls it

Yes you can do that, either make a door with the origin brush above it, instead of at the side. Then set its angle to -1 (or -2 , I can't remember which).

Then set the "targeted" flag to true, and setup the triggers.

Or you can script the door movement using, either rotateyup or rotatezup:

Code: Select all

rotateyup degreesToMove

E.G.

$door rotateyup 90
