Another 2 questions!

1. How do you make a rotating door with the hinge on the right open out from you instead of towards you?

2. I my single player map this guard keeps dropping health whrn he dies, I don't know how to stop this, please help!!!!!!!!

Made a door?
One brush for the door, one for the hinge with texture origin?
Selected both and turned into func_rotatingdoor?
Fine!
Select the door, press 'n'.
If the door shall open just in one direction and it opens in the wrong direction, check 'opendirection', and it will open the other way.
If the door shall open always away from the player, enter key/value alwaysaway/1.
Now, give the door a key/value angle/###, where ### depends on how your door is standing in the top-view:
A | like door gets no angle or 0 or 180
a ----- like door gets an angle of 90 or 270 .
A / like door gets 135 and a \ gets 45. Always perpendicular to the doorbrush.
You could also search the forum, the biggest part of it is about rotating doors :wink:

thanks - ill try it as soon as I get the chance, it sounds not too hard. Then again, when youre talking about someone like me doing it is almost certain to go wrong lol

there is some slight scripting to get AI to not drop health but the script effects all players.. i will get it for you

put this after your waittill spawn line... i dunno if it works i got the script from m5l2b the tank mission... i dont think you want a tank that can be healed with a health packet... so thats what the script is for... i hope it works im too busy to see for my self.

i don't know why i'm even posting now but i feel i need to type something :P

if u want to you can use $targetname.nodrophealth 1

this will stop the named target dropping health, but every1 still can, if that's what you want to do... i don't know bugger it, just thought i'd join in :P

that would be a good way buut you could just place a 25 health underneath the person you kill so it looks like he has dropped it
