I need a favour from all Canadians.
1)Do you know of the history for the Royal Canadian Mint?
2)Do you know of any Folk Songs you sing? The lyrics and the song?
We're doing a project on Canada, and hope the Canadians can help.

lol.. I'm from Canada. You're working on trench rats, right?
1) I'm not sure about the Royal Canadian Mint, you mean coins? or what?
2) As far as folk songs go, I know a couple but assuming this is for trench rats I don't think they were written by WWI. Actually there is a song called 'I's the boy' (it's from the east coast/maritimes.. explains the grammer) that might be that old, but good luck finding the tune. I might be able to come up with the lyrics if that's the type of thing you're looking for. If you don't care so much about anachronisms anything by Gordon Lightfoot is folk music. His classic is 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.' Give me some time and I'll dig around and see if I can find something better.

hey, mohaa_rox, I might be able to get ahold of some information about the Royal Canadain Mint during WWI but it would have to come by snail mail. Is this worth it, or do you need info quickly?
Or even, is that the type of information you are looking for?
