Problems with the SKY ! HELP (No0b in town)

I made a terrain with easyGen and have been building on it, i went to add a sky, all the sky which was saying CUALK or something and i select the texture the cualk thing changed to the sky but it made it pattern not 1 big whole sky it was just 1 pic sky after an other , what am i doing wrong please help, also i made a terrain with easygen as i said so when i building just has checkers on the ground so when i play the map will the terrain be there.

also with them power box things in texture im having trouble add them to a wall if you dont know what i mean, you know them grey boxes on the walls some are blown and some are ok the like a big power box how do you add them to the wall cause its not one big object its in pieces and i suck with stuff like that.Please help

when adding the sky texture it does just reproduce the mini texture in radiant, however when you compile it, it gets it information from 6 other pictures under that same same _ft _lt _rt _bk _tp _bm (front, left etc... the six internal faces,
then the images it needs if stretches to fit over the desired area of ur skybox,

why dont u fit it with ctrl+f

It's no use

. Texture orientation is ignored for sky textures.

in game it should look fine
