Areaportals?

I use areaportals in my map to close my buildings, but when i compile my map it gives me thoses warnings:
Warning: areaportal brush 6 doesn't touch two areas
Warning: areaportal brush 360 doesn't touch two areas
Warning: areaportal brush 362 doesn't touch two areas
Can somebody help me how to use areaportals?

if your building is surrounded by a sky box it is inside an area so the portal won't work but what you can do is extent the floor of the building down so that it is touching the bottom of the sky box with no space between it and the sky box . this has the effect of makeing it a separate area . I am reasonably sure that this works try it and see .
