Hi gang
Can someone lead me to the answer to this.
When in the 3d camera view the map only shows up part the way across it.
So is there a way to increase the distance one can view accross the map when editing.
BTW this site has to be the best forum i have ever come accross.
I am an old quark mapper with quake 1 and then lost interest.
Since the release of this game ( and others) i have found quark wanting a little and had to learn Radiant from scratch sort off.
The tuts. and forum have been nothing less than spectacular and because off such i hav nearly compleated my first map.... ready for the critics.. :D

to show everything, go to menu view and uncheck cubic clipping. if you just want to increase viewing distance, press right bracket (on my german keyboard it's ?), to decrease it left bracket (which is ? for me). to enter the distance from which on models are just drawn as boxes, enter a value in edit/preferences/model cull dist., where higher values drastically reduce program speed, though.

*smacks forehead*

Oh man, I've had the same problem for quite some time now. I just fooled around with the cull distance in the Prefences, but never really unchecked that cubic clipping view... So I always used to keep the necessary parts selected when moving the camera away from them in the 3dview. Alright, you're my hero now Wacko!
