MBUILDER for spearhead

HI guys,

just a thought has any1 thought of rewriting MBuilder
so that it can load spearhead after a compile instead of MOH.
I ask this coz the maps im learning to make wont load in MOH.
ive tried changing the load comand in the console window on MBuilder
from MOHAA.exe to MOH_spearhead.exe but when spearhead starts to load it crashes but if I load SH manually and load the map through console its fine.. just a bit time wasting thought wen all u wanna do is preview a map whilest building.. it wud be nicer if SH loaded automatically.

if i were a programmer i wud decomplie the MBuilder.exe and rewrite it myself but i cant.. if any1 thinks this is possible let us know.

Wot, no way go to Other Options when you open MBuilder and de-select AutoLoad, then just enter Spearhead the normal way, easy peasy.

OK if you want to use MBuilder for Spearhead only maps you can do the following:

Where is says batchfile in MBuilder (text box lower left hand corner), change the last line which reads something like -

"C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe" +set developer 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1 +logfile 3 +g_gametype 0 +devmap

to

"C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\moh_spearhead.exe" +set developer 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 +set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1 +logfile 3 +g_gametype 0 +devmap

That opens up Spearhead automatically after compiling a map.....


Then change your game and compiler directory to point to the mainta and spearhead compilers (they should be located in the tools directory whereever you installed the SDK)

Voila - MBuilder set up for Spearhead - the only problem is that you have to change it back to compile MoH maps

Please elaborate on this a bit more...

I was looking for the log file command, is this the Mbuilder log wich gets created ? and when ? during or after the compile... ? where is it saved ?

Btw. this: "+logfile 3 +g_gametype 0 +devmap" part is missing in my Mbuilder commandline... +devmap ?
