Terrain

How do you delete individual faces on terrain? I want to chop of some corners

You cant, at least I dont think so, Anyway you must lower those corners and you can just build over them, thats wot I do.

Ok , press Shift + F (The Edit Facet Flag box should pop-up). Then hold down ctrl+shift and left click on your terrain - you will see triangles "light up" - Once you have selected the area you want to "delete" check the box marked delete - voila - part of your LOD Terrain has been "deleted" and will not show up in game. You can double check what has been deleted by going to LoD-Terrain - Colour Surface Flags. The dull greeny yellow are the portions that have been deleted.

Um surg does it matter if I still see that patches in radiant? I still see them after I click delete.

An easier method is to hold ctrl+shift+click on a patch of terrain (512x512) and then go to LOD terrain-->detatch selected patch. Then it comes out, and u just delete it. :wink:

Yeah well but sometimes you don't want to remove the entire patch.

that's what i do if i wanna delete large scale terrain.

Thanks Surgeon , but I could not get it right , but now I got it I clicket on the 3D view with CTRL SHIFT and then the triangles appear with the LOD and the Edit Facet Flag ( Shift - F ) :)

At Least I got a hole in it.
