How do you do grids like in V2, do you just texture one side of the brush?

basically texture 5 sides of your brush with the "nodraw" texture 9in the common texture folder) then the remaining one with your texture

What I do is no draw the bottom and tex the top and caulk the sides. The reason I do this is because I put a thin brush on the sides with a basic dark grey or something similar. If I don't then it doesn't look realistic when looking down on your grid because the sides are invisible and the grid just ends without any border.
