When I created a document using notepad (as i got from nemesis' tut) to use as my maps .scr and how do i save it as a .scr notin will work lol im dumb

File-->Save as-->all files
Then urscript.scr
change name

You can also right click on your text file and then left click on "Rename".

I suggest u don't try tltrude's method. It may corrupt the file and mohaa may not be able to open it.

Be sure when you do a 'save as' that you use quotes around the file name like this: "yourmapname.scr"
I find it most helpful also to save in this format for dm maps: "mp_yourmapname_dm.scr"
and like this for TOWmaps: "mp_yourmapname_tow.scr"
(Seems to make all the sounds, etc. work. Don't need the 'test_' stuff in front of the map name).

DOn't EVER save a MP map as test_xxx!!!!!

if it's ur 1st map, save it as test_***.map
save the script as test_***.scr
if DM anything u like really
when saving the script (.scr) make sure it's not .scr.txt as it won't be read, if it says this just rename it

use test_ for SP, dont use for MP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
